The process
- Nominee gets nominated.
- Project People contact nominee and verify participation and consent.
- Profile is created for nominee.
- Profile is published, press release is issued and nominator and nominee are informed
- People vote for their favorite candidate.
- On the 1st November 2025 voting closes and votes are counted to determine winner for category.
- On 2 November 2025 till 15 November 2025 Panel of judges confirm category winners and also vote for overall winner of Project Person of 2025.
- 20 November 2025 Official Awards Ceremony.
- Press release issued with category winners and overall winner.
- 21 November 2025 till 31 December 2025 Various profile highlights are published of all winners.
Considerations
- Once your nominee profile page is live, you will be notified, we suggest you then share it with as many people as possible. Quantity of votes will play an important role in selecting a winner.
- Join the Linkedin page for ProjectPeople to give your nominee more exposure.
- We know the detail requested can take time to complete, but keep it short. The profile published for your nominee will be written separately in cooperation with the nominee, but the detail you enter will provide the punchline and can impact the votes received.
- Votes will be given with a scoring between 1 and 10, with 10 rating the highest.
- When sharing on social media consider the importance of hashtags. We recommend the following 3 as the most important. #votefor(nameofcandidate) #projectpeopleza #projectpersonoftheyear
- You will be provided with a picture of your candidate and a QR code on it. This will help you getting those valuable votes in.

- First person that nominated a winner will be the winner of the prizes that are up for grabs.
